About Mina Boyd, M.S., LPC-R
Do you constantly second-guess yourself, even after you’ve made a decision?
Do you worry about what other people think of you or fear being judged?
Do you have a hard time saying no because you don’t want to disappoint others?
Do you compare yourself to friends, classmates, or coworkers and feel like you’re falling behind?
Do you spend so much time taking care of everyone else’s needs that you’ve forgotten to take care of your own?
If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone.
Life transitions can feel overwhelming. Whether you’re starting college, graduating, beginning a career, navigating relationship challenges, or trying to figure out your next step, it’s easy to question yourself and wonder if you’re on the right path.
Sometimes these struggles are rooted in patterns that developed long before today. You may have learned to seek approval, avoid conflict, or put everyone else’s needs ahead of your own. While those patterns may have helped you at one point in your life, they can also leave you feeling anxious, overwhelmed, and unsure of yourself.
Therapy provides a safe place to better understand these patterns, strengthen your confidence, and begin making decisions that reflect who you are instead of who you think you’re expected to be.
What to Expect
When we work together, you can expect a space where you feel heard, understood, and accepted without judgment. My goal is to create an environment where you feel comfortable talking openly about what’s been weighing on you, even if you’re not sure how to put it into words.
Together, we’ll explore the experiences, relationship patterns, and beliefs that may be contributing to your current challenges. As you gain a better understanding of yourself, we’ll also develop practical tools to help you manage anxiety, strengthen your confidence, improve your relationships, and navigate life’s transitions with greater clarity.
Therapy isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about helping you better understand yourself so you can make decisions that align with who you are and the life you want to create.
